Vision and Mission Statement

Vision

Our joint vision are fairer and juster economies and societies within the European Union in which equal opportunities for all economic subjects. Social responsibility and sustainability take centre stage. Free market economies and social partnerships shall be linked.

We represent a culture of responsible activities that recognises and accepts opportunities and risks. Our actions are orientated towards profitability, sustainability and in this respect also serve the general public.

We strive to create a world in which prosperity and opportunities for prosperity are accessible to all people and where entrepreneurship is a driving force for innovation and social progress.

We strive to create a better future for generations to come, in which solidarity, fairness and sustainability are the cornerstones of our economy and society.

Mission

We in SE4DS are the voice for self-employed, entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises and businesses at large in the Party of European Socialists and Social Democrats (PES). We bring their aspirations, suggestions and concerns to our parties and our parliamentary representatives and take care of their realisation.
Conversely, we also convey PES positions to the business community.

We endeavour to combine entrepreneurship and social responsibility by promoting sustainable business models that take into account the needs of society and the environment. Through mutual support, education, networking and advocacy, we are committed to political and economic reforms that benefit our target groups, promote social equality and improve opportunities for all. Our members are committed to shaping our economies.

Our aim is primarily to represent, promote and support self-employed and small and medium entrepreneurs within and outside the PES family who are committed to the social democratic values of social justice, solidarity and environmental responsibility.

Any organisation of or closely affiliated with a European party that is a member of PES that is committed to our goals may apply to join us.
